Worked at the prefectural pottery station. He then retired and built a kiln in 1975. Awarded the Chairman’s Prize of the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and many other prizes. Selected for Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. A regular member of the Japan Arts and Crafts Society.
