Born in the town of Tobe. He became independent in 1958 when he built a kiln with his father. Won the highest award at the Ehime Ceramics Competition. He was awarded many grand prizes. Selected to exhibit at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. Mainly specializes in celadon, white porcelain and blue and white ceramics. A member of the Japan Arts and Crafts Society.
