Born in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture. Studied painting and sculpture in Kyoto and returned to his hometown. At the age of 19, his work was selected for the Nitten exhibition. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition, Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, Chunichi International Exhibition, and others. Oribe, Karatsu and Setoguro are his main works. A regular member of the Japan Kogei association.
