He made his works in the Yatagama kiln, which is blessed with a fertile climate, using red clay with white-mishima, painted-mishima, brush-worked-mishima, Jomon earthenware style firing, and iron-rich Mukaiyama glaze. Member of the Toko-kai, and later resigned. Member of the Gunflame Art Association.
