Born in Seto City, Japan. Trained at the Nagoya National Industrial Research Institute. Studied under Kato Izo. Built the kiln in Tokyo in 1980. Held solo exhibitions at Hachioji Seibu and Ginza Toetsu. Official member of Salon de Paris. Part-time instructor at Jiyu no Mori Gakuen High School.
