Studied under Kawai Unosuke and Kusube Yaichi. Awarded many times at the Nitten and other exhibitions. Awards received include the Modern Japanese Ceramic Art Exhibition and the Kyoto City Art Exhibition. Designs vases, flower vases and tea bowls with contemporary decorations based on the traditions of Kyoto pottery. A member of the Nitten exhibition.
