Born in Kyoto. He completed his studies at the Tekisui Art Museum in 1976. Later, he worked at Tsunohatzu Pottery in Shinjuku, Tokyo. His work has been selected for a series of new traditional craft exhibitions. He has held a series of exhibitions at Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi and Shinjuku. His works are mainly ornaments and sancai.
