Born in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. He first studied under Okuda Yasuhiro at the Kagura pottery in Mie Prefecture. Later, he trained at a Koishiwara pottery and became independent. Awarded the Grand Prize at the Seibu Arts and Crafts Exhibition of Japan and the Grand Prize at the Mingei Exhibition. Selected for the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition and other exhibitions. Studied and observed in Thailand and England. Exhibition at Murakami Gallery in Kitakyushu City and other places.
