He was born in Shiogama and trained in Hasami, Nagasaki, and Kyoto in 1966. His work has been selected for the Traditional Craft New Work Exhibition and the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, among others. Awarded the Miyagi Prefecture Art Festival Award and the Art Honorable Mention. His works are mainly white porcelain, celadon, colored porcelain and iron glaze. Solo exhibition at Mitsukoshi Department Store in Sendai.
