Born in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture. Graduated from Onomichi Junior College. Studied under her father, Riichi, and later under Fukada Tsunehiro at the Kibitsu Kiln. Awarded the Prefectural Governor’s Prize at the prefectural exhibition and the President’s Award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the East China Traditional Craft Exhibition, among others. Zogan (inlay) is her main medium.
