From Ishikawa Prefecture. Graduated from the Kanazawa College of Art with a major in casting. Studied under Matsumoto Saichi from 1980 and made ceramics. Graduated from the Kutani Ware Craft Training Institute in 1985. Member of the Women’s Association of Ceramic Art and won the Mainichi Newspaper Prize at the Women’s Ceramic Art Exhibition. Has received the Award of Excellence at the Hokuriku Japan-China Women’s Exhibition, etc. Selected for and received an award at the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition, etc. Focuses on objects of art.
