Graduated from the Ozawa Designer Academy. Later studied under Matsubara Seiho of Satsukigama. Independently set up Yushikama kiln in Seto in 1979. Has been selected for the Japan Ceramics Exhibition, the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition, the Asahi Modern Craft Exhibition, Chunichi International Exhibition, the Ceramics Design Competition, etc. Focuses on ash glaze.
