From Kyoto. Graduated from Hiyoshigaoka High School. Studied under his father Toshu as well as Kusube Yaichi of Seitokai, and set up independently in 1966. Specially selected for the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition, and entrusted with the position of judge in addition to being a member. Judge and councillor for the Japan New Crafts Exhibition. Won first prize at the Vallauris International Exhibition, etc. Solo exhibitions in Ginza Wako and elsewhere.
