Decided to pursue ceramics-making around 1975. Member of the Sanki-kai Association and winner of the Member Prize, the Kansai Prize, and an Honorable Mention at the Sankikai Exhibition. Member of the Tokokai Association and winner of the Modern Culture Association Prize, the Hishiya Prize, and an Honorable Mention. Selected for the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition and others. Focuses on tenmoku ceramics and crystalline glaze.
