From Yamanashi City. Graduated from Osaka University of Arts with a major in ceramics. Founded a kiln in Yamanashi in 1979. Won the Shindo and Tsuchiya Awards at the Yamanashi Art Association Exhibition; is a member and won the member prize. Received the Governor’s Prize at the Yamanashi Creation Exhibition, the Art Festival Prize at the Prefectural Art Festival, etc. Selected for the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition, the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, the Issui-kai Exhibition, the Japan Ceramics Exhibition, the Asahi Craft Exhibition, and Chunichi International Exhibition. Focuses on white and blue-and-white porcelain.
