Born in Onoda, Yamaguchi prefecture. Graduated from Onoda Institute of Technology in the Department of Industrial Chemistry. Later worked within the traditions of higokogama Shodai-ware. Selected for the Kyushu Yamaguchi Ceramics Year of the Dragon, Kumamoto Prefecture Exhibition, others. Recipient of the Kumamoto Soumi Exhibition Kumamoto Mayor’s Award, others. Primarily focused on older and more recent traditions of ash glaze from the coast of Korea and other techniques.
