Built a Kamada kiln in Suzaka, Nagano prefecture, to make ceramics. Recipient of Asahi Ceramics Exhibition, Prefectural Exhibition and other awards. Selected for the Chunichi International Ceramics Exhibition, Nitten, New Traditional Crafts Exhibition, others. Primarily focused on charcoal roasting of tatara made from local red clay and tableware made using apple ash and straw ash.
