Graduated from the Kyoto University of Art and Design. Studied under Tomimoto Kenkichi. Later went independent. Recipient of many awards from famous public exhibitions. Member of Shin-Takumi Fine Arts Association. Primarily focused on vases and teaware using blue glaze.
