Graduated from Kyoto University of the Arts and the Kyoto Industrial Research Institute. Studied under the 6th generation head Kiyomizu Rokubey. Selected for Nitten. Recipient of the Chunichi International Exhibition Honorable Mention, Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition Excellence Award, Japan New Crafts Award, All Kansai Exhibition Yomiuri Newspaper Award.
