Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Rikkyo University. Studied Japanese painting under his father Misuzu and ceramics under Watanabe Rokuro. Recipient of the Nifu Exhibition Newcomer Award, Shuka Award, Nifu Award, Mayor of Nagoya’s Award, Osaka Board of Education Award, Gifu Prefecture Governor’s Award, Yomiuri Newspaper Award, others. Director of the same store. Held solo exhibitions at Ginza G Spax and Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi. Primarily worked with cinnabar and kohiki.
