Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Kokugakuin University. Built a kiln in Kasama Art Village in Ibaraki prefecture in 1972. Studied under Nakanishi Koji. Selected for the National Exhibition, the Japanese Ceramic Art Exhibitions, others. Dedicated to creating different types of kyusu teapots with materials such as vermilion clay, shale clay or white clay. Held a three-person kyusu teapot exhibit at Akasaka G Gen.
