Born in Bizen. Dropped out of Kyusei Okayama Ichishou School. Later worked at a company trading in material for ceramics and began to aspire to create his own work. Studied under Kimura Toun and Namba Akihiro. Built a kiln at Nishi-Katakami Pass in 1981. Selected for prefectural exhibitions. Produced figurines, incense burners, large sake decanters and large flower vases adorned with everything from zodiac images to Hotei-sama to birds, insects and animals.
