Born as the eldest son of Tansen Kiln in Tamba Tachikui, the village of Tamba Tachikui

1977 Trained at Akatsu Pottery in Seto City

1984 Selected for the Hyogo Prefecture Crafts Art Exhibition (1991’92)

Selected for All Kansai Art Exhibition in 1986 (and twice since).

1987 Selected, Hyogo Prefectural Exhibition.

1989 Selected for the Tabe Art Museum Grand Prize, Chanoyu no Zokei Exhibition (and seven times thereafter) (Tabe Art Museum, Shimane)

1990 Selected for the Kinki Branch Exhibition of the Japan Kogei Association (and annually thereafter).
