From Kagoshima Prefecture. Graduated from Keio University. Sought to make ceramics in 1975 and studied under Matsui Kosei. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition, Japan Ceramic Craft Exhibition, and other exhibitions. Held private exhibitions at Kuroda Toen in Ginza and the Mitsukoshi in Nihombashi. Works focus on carbonization and inlay work.
