Born as the eldest son of Mizoguchi Mofu      
1984 Learned pottery techniques under Kawashima Kozo, a member of Sodeisha, Uji Sumiyama.
1987 Kyoto Prefectural Vocational Training School for Ceramic Artists, Design Course
1991 Graduated from Kyoto Municipal Industrial Research Institute
1991 Returned to his father’s studio and started making ceramics.
1997 Honorable Mention, Saga Art Association Exhibition
1998 West Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, Encouragement Prize, Saga Prefectural Governor Prize
   Saga Art Association Exhibition, Chairperson of Saga Prefectural Assembly Prize, 1998 
2000 Selected, Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
2002 Participated in Kyushu Electric Power Company’s domestic and overseas training program in New Mexico, U.S.A., for training of base and glaze.
