Born in Arita Town, 1977. After graduating from Saga Prefectural Arita Ceramic College, he studied pottery for 7 years and 8 months under “Living National Treasure” Inoue Manji, and began to make pottery at his family’s pottery studio, Nakasen-gama.

He was selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition.
