Born in Otani, Naruto City. Graduated from the Kyoto City Institute of Industrial Arts. Opened a kiln in Tobe in 1970. Awarded the Issuikai Prize, the Members’ Prize for Excellence, and others. Awarded at the Shinshoukai Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, and the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition. Mainly celadon and blue-and-white porcelain.
