1978 Apprenticed under Azuma Kuniaki at Azuma Kutani Pottery in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan
1985 Returned to Toyama and started making pottery at the family business, Shirohachi Kiln
1988 Built his own climbing kiln
1995 Built the Ittekoi Kiln
2004 Became an instructor at “Tounokan” in Ecchu Pottery Village
