1957-maleBorn in Nakanomachi 3-chome, Ayabe City. Ceramic artist. 1981 Graduated from the Ceramics Department of the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Research Institute. 1982 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Vocational Training School for Ceramics. 1983 Completed the major course at the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Research Institute. 1987 Built a kiln in Otsu City and became independent. 2012 Received the Medal with Purple Ribbon, the Ayabe City Benefactor Award, and the Otsu City Special Cultural Award. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Japan Kogei Association and a part-time lecturer at the Department of Crafts, Kyoto City University of
