Kuroda Taizo was born in 1946. After moving to Paris at the age of 20 and discovering ceramics in Canada in 1967, Kuroda returned to Japan and built a kiln in Ito City in 1991, and held his first solo exhibition in 1982. Since 1992, when he first exhibited white porcelain works, this has become the center of his creativity.
He had continued to produce pure works that fulfill his self-expression.
