Also as known as Kyoshitsu the 2nd. Born in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture.
1980 Entered the Department of Ceramics at Kyoto Municipal High School of Arts and Crafts.
1983 Entered Osaka University of Arts, Faculty of Arts, Department of Crafts.
1985 Entered Kyoto Prefectural Vocational Training School for Ceramic Art.
1961 Completed the school, and worked hard to acquire skills under his father, Sasaki Teruo.
1996 Received the kiln name “Kirai-gama” from the 520th abbot of Murasakino Daitokuji Temple. Since then, he has been working hard to produce tea ware at the kiln.
2003 First solo exhibition at Daimaru Hakata Tenjin Department Store. Since then, he has held solo exhibitions all over Japan.
2011 Exhibition in commemoration of Sasaki Kyoshitsu’s name at Keio Department Store in Shinjuku.
