Graduated from the Tochigi Prefectural Mashiko Ceramic Art Training Institute in 1975. Later, he studied under Omiyaji Michiko. Awarded a prize at the Traditional Craft Exhibition and other exhibitions. Mainly produces tableware and pots with a focus on line patterns and yakishime.
