Born in Gifu Prefecture. He studied under Kondo Yuzo. Later creates his kiln at Ninomido-hachigama. He won awards such as the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and the Nikkei honorary mention. Held solo exhibitions in places such as Osaka Central and Kyoto Takashimaya. His main works were in dyeing and white parcelain.
