Graduated Nagoya University of the Arts. He studied under Kato Shuntei. His works were selected for exhibitions such as the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition. He specialized in chamfering and damascening. He was a full-time member of the Japan Kogei Association, and a member of the Seto Ceramic Art Association.
