Born in Kyoto. Studied under Kato Tokuhiro. Founded a kiln in 1983. Selected for and won awards at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition, among other exhibitions. Has held personal exhibitions at locations including Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi. Specializes in Jun ware. Japan Kogei Association member.
