Born in Kanazawa. Studied under Kutani ware master Nakamura Suiko. Founded Sodosha in 1971. Won the Gold Prize at the Indian Triennale International Exhibition. Featured in the Hakone Open-Air Museum Grand Prize Exhibition, and international exhibitions in cities like Geneva, Venice, and Taipei. Specializes in sculptures, abstract designs, and kido.
