Graduated from the ceramics course at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1972. Studied under Fujimoto Yoshimichi, Tamura Koichi, and Asano Akira. Selected for the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition. Produces painted ceramics with her husband Akira in Tsukahara, Kanagawa.
