Born in Urawa, Saitama. Trained in Koishiwara, Fukuoka from 1970, and founded a kiln in Goyu, Miyazaki Prefecture in 1974. Has won prefectural exhibitions as well as other special awards, etc. Has held personal exhibitions in Miyazaki and Fukuoka. Uses white glaze with kakewake, black glaze with silver, and other novel decoration methods, and pays attention to the carving and glaze.
