Born in Kyoto.
He is the third generation of Hashimoto Jougaku, a Kiyomizu-yaki pottery kiln established in Kyoto that has been in operation for 70 years.
Member of Kyoto Prefectural Ceramic Cooperative.
Vice-chairman of the youth club.
He produces tableware and tea ceremony utensils by hand using traditional Kiyomizu-yaki techniques.
