Born in Hyogo. Studied under Hashimoto Masahiko of the Otonashi kiln at Aoba Ceramics Studio. Founded his own kiln in 1981. Selected for the Traditional Craft New Works Exhibition and Musashino Exhibition. Has held personal exhibitions at Sarasa and Marumitsu in Sendai. Specializes in zougan and nerikomi.
