Started making ceramics around 1965 after being attracted by ceramics from the Joseon dynasty. Has visited Korea over 20 times. Has engaged in Buncheong ware, Gyeryongsan ware, and Mishima ware since 1975. Held biennial private exhibitions at the Hankyu in Osaka and has held private exhibitions at the Mitsukoshi in Matsuyama and the new gallery that he operates.
