Real name is Shinji. Born in Kagato. The second son of Buyo Gorobee of the brewing industry. Graduated the brewing department of the Tokyo University of Agriculture. Later becomes attracted to Bizen-ware and becomes an apprentice to Fujiwara Rakuzan. Constructed a kiln in 1969 under the guidance of Fujiwara Ken. Constructed a new kiln in Bizen in 1978. Held exhibitions at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Nagoya Matsuzakaya, Hankyu, Los Angeles, and more. Pursues in Onibizen and Konbizen.
