Graduated from Kyoto University of Art. Studied under Tomimoto Kenkichi and Kondo Yuzo. Later worked at Seto Pottery High School before becoming independent. Awarded the Governor’s Prize at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition and was selected for the Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition of Japan and others. Has created many ceramic walls for public facilities, companies, and private residences.
