Born in Seto. Into a family business producing semi-porcelain export items. Graduated from the Department of Electrical Communication, Faculty of Engineering, Meiji University. Later became interested in ceramics. He specializes in painting Karatsu style using Mino clay. Has held group exhibitions in Roppongi, Tokyo, and other solo exhibitions.
