Born in Saitama Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo Craft Design Institute. Became independent in 1978. Awarded the Grand Prize at the Ishikawa Prefecture Design Exhibition. Selected for the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition and others. Works with inlay, blue and white, iron glaze, and other techniques on ceramic ware.
