Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Department of Ceramics. In 1959, with the support of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), he built a kiln in Kasama City. Awarded prizes at the Japan Folk Art Museum Exhibition, Japan Folk Art Public Exhibition, Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition, Musashino Exhibition, and New Works Exhibition. Solo exhibitions at Ginza Kuroda Toen, Osaka Mitsukoshi Department Store, Shibuya Seibu Department Store, Nagoya Meitetsu Department Store, etc. Mainly works with jun ware and blue ceradon. Member of Ibaraki craft association. Full member of Japan Kogei Association.
