Studied under Kato Sho in Seto. Awarded the Craft Prize at the Kofu-kai Exhibition. Awarded prizes at Nitten exhibition, Japan New Craft Exhibition, Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, Chunichi International Exhibition, Chubu Yomiuri Art Exhibition, Seto City Exhibition, and others. Solo exhibitions at Matsuzakaya Department Store in Ginza, and Maruei Department Store in Nagoya. Member of the Seto Ceramic Association and the Tokai Branch of the Japan New Craft Association. Lecturer at the Cultural Academy of the Prefectural Labor Association.
