Trained at Yunone Kiln in Seto since 1940. Later, while running his own company, he collected, studied, and made ceramics. He has been awarded prizes at the Mizunami City Exhibition and the Toki City Exhibition in Gifu Prefecture. Focuses on tea ceremony pottery with oil drops tenmoku and leaf tenmoku.
