Born in Seto. Graduated from Setogama High School. Studied under his uncle Kato Sakusuke. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition. Exhibited at the Moeto-kai Exhibition. Focuses on Oribe and Kizeto. Full member of Japan Kogei Association.
