shigaraki pottery
Born in Shigaraki. Studied under their father, Kosendo, from 1946. In 1960, they became independent in Shigaraki, and in 1981, they opened a climbing kiln. they are an instructor at the Shigaraki Ceramics School. Taught pottery making in Hawaii. Solo exhibitions at Wakayama Kintetsu Department Store, Osaka Daimaru Department Store, Kyoto Takashimaya Department Store, etc.
